Mixed martial arts is the ultimate test a person can be put through within all combat sports. MMA requires you to be able to stand and strike, wrestle and grapple on the ground.
Here at Boss Gym, we cover all aspects of MMA with Boxing, Muay Thai / Kickboxing, Submission Grappling (BJJ) classes as well as MMA classes teaching you how to put all the art forms together.
BOXING
Boxing is one of the oldest forms of combat and is still extremely popular today!
Come learn the fine art of footwork, punch combos, technique as well as building your fitness with our very experienced Boxing coach.

MUAY THAI / KICKBOXING
This stand up, striking art form, is also referred to as ‘Thai Boxing’ and ‘The Art of Eight Limbs’, this is due to hands, elbows, knees and shins being used in this combat element.
Muay Thai also utilizes clinch work, allowing you to manipulate your opponents posture using your arms whilst being able to attack with knees and even elbows from close range! Muay Thai is probably the most effectively utilized striking discipline in MMA.

SUBMISSION GRAPPLING (BJJ)
BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) is a ground-based form of control and submission fighting. With our high-level experienced coach, you can learn how to effectively take your opponent to the ground, control them and apply submissions using choke techniques and joint manipulation.
Here at Boss Gym, we also mix a lot of wrestling in with the submission work, as we say ‘All fight scenarios start standing up…’ therefore it is imperative to learn how to get the fight to the ground in the first place!

LADIES SELF DEFENCE
Here at Boss Gym, we believe every single person should have the freedom of movement in day-to-day life without fear, but sadly we know the world isn’t always the safest place.
We, alongside our grappling instruction Georgij, have designed a self defense course for women only to tackle this specific issue. Learn how to deal with real life situations in a controlled environment and give yourself the confidence to walk freely.

KIDS CLASS
Kids are an integral part of our future; therefore, it is our responsibility to help them grow in confidence and create a safe, happy social environment for them.
During the class they will learn self defense not only through technique but through games and fun.
